Advanced LT Controller - On/Off & Variable Speed
This unit has features that fall between the Basic and Advanced Temp Controllers. This unit, as with the TC-AC, is microprocessor-based which provides for extreme sensitivity and reliability but with the simplicity of the basic controller. This unit features two setpoints for the fans to turn and off at with the first setting for closet applications as it turns the fans on at 80 degrees F and off at 77F. The other mode which is set by using the jumper on the unit and is appropriate for cabinet applications, is set at 88F on and 85F off.
For the variable speed feature, the fan speed increases in a linear progression and will run at full speed when the temperature reaches 105F.
The on and off setpoints can also be manipulated by the positioning of the unit. If the controller is placed closer to the heat source (amp or receiver) it will obviously reach the setpoint quicker. Further away and it will not be as sensitive.
This unit provides automated on and off control as well as variable speed control based on temperature. So as the temperature rises, the fans turn on and speed up as the temp rises. Then as the system cools down, the fans slow down and ultimately turn off when the temperature drops below the set point which is determined by the different modes.
* High Setpoint - On at 880F and off at 850F
